What This Site Is
Houston Lumber is a referral service. It connects people who want to buy or sell lumber in the Houston area with partner suppliers in our network. Quotes, products, and services come from those partner suppliers.
What the Form Collects
The quote form collects your name, email address, phone number, ZIP or postal code, and the details of your request: the product, service, grade, and quantity you choose, and any message you write. You can also give your company, city, and state or province. The form records the page you sent it from.
We only collect this information when you choose to send the form.
How Your Request Is Used
Your request goes to the 1DB lead platform, which passes it to partner suppliers so that they can prepare a quote and contact you about it. Once a partner supplier has your request, its own privacy practices also apply. We don't sell your information to data brokers.
Analytics and Cookies
This site uses PostHog analytics, loaded through this site's own domain, to count visits and see how pages are used. For most visitors PostHog sets a first-party cookie or similar browser storage. Visitors in Europe, and visitors whose browser sends a privacy signal, are counted without cookies or storage on their device. The site sets no advertising cookies.
How Long Information Is Kept
Requests are kept for as long as they are needed to handle your quote and keep ordinary business records, and are then deleted or anonymized. Partner suppliers keep the information they receive under their own policies.
Your Choices
You don't have to send the form to read this site. If you have sent a request and want to ask about it, or want your information corrected or deleted, send that request through the quote form and say so in the message box.
Changes to This Policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will appear on this page with a new date.
Questions about this policy can be sent through the quote form.
